I was born in Oklahoma and came to Washington, D.C. during the Kennedy and Johnson years where my interest in activism and the political process took root. My passion for the arts has fueled my activities and projects throughout my life. I made my career as a curator and gallerist, first in New York and later in Paris and London.

The decades that I spent living and working in European capitals have given me a deeper and more global understanding of the cultural similarities that bind Europe and North America together. I believe that art has the power to transform and change societies for the better. Merging these two worlds fuels each initiative I lead.

A native French raised in a family of entrepreneurs, innovators, patrons of the arts and artists, I am convinced that the arts are pivotal to help societies and individuals understand and address the major challenges that face our planet today.

Creating solutions for the common good that go beyond our differences requires new methods of engagement and governance. My experience in, and passion for, leveraging human and technological forces makes this possible.
